In TIMQ I mentioned about the three things that Ip Man said practitioners must not do.
So happens that my Taiji student did one of the 3 things and I showed him that to do so leaves one open for a takedown.
He asked if this was the reason why many strikers were prone to being taken down. I said yes.
There is a fine line that if not observed would lead to us unknowingly opening up ourselves for a takedown. Nowadays, with a lot more experience under them many strikers are aware of where the fine line is.
One of the things that the e-learning of TIMQ will discuss is this fine line i.e. if you have not already realized its importance after reading about it in TIMQ.
