Practicing our Taiji is like practicing Zen meditation using physical movements.
If we cultivate the use of our intention eventually we will reach a stage of having no-intention. This is the state of having real intention.
This is also the stage at which you actually feel a sense of emptiness which can be used in your push hands. This is not just some imagined intellectual thing.
This is the reason why this model is built on two important key words which in turn will yield another two key words, making it a total of 4 key words.
San –> Sung
Sung –> Kong
Kong –> Tong
Thus, the 4 key words Sung, San, Tong, Kong.
When you reached this stage test your understanding by reading GM Wang’s chaos maxim. If you can understand what it says and demonstrate the skills then you know you have arrived at the stage of mastery.
