The first thing to learn is the use of the horizontal circle.
Round and round we turn the circle until the ring of movement is embedded in our mind; our one ring of movement to rule the training partner’s movement.
Same leg forward; ulna bone of same hand attached to ulna bone of same hand. Don’t worry too much about shifting weight first.
Just draw the circle; back and forth, and back and forth. Smoothen out the rough edges. Focus on getting the circle right. Try not to use too much strength. Remember this is training to learn and not training to win.
